Professional Profile
Dr Moss qualified as a doctor in 1997, after studying at University College London Medical School and undertaking an intercalated BSc. She completed the MRCP(UK) exam and worked as a Junior Lecturer and Specialist Trainee in Oncology at the Royal Marsden Hospital before completing a PhD as a Cancer Research UK Clinical Fellow at the Barts Cancer Institute in Charterhouse Square. She successfully defended her thesis on Microarray Analysis of Tamoxifen Resistance in Breast Cancer in 2008. She continued specialist training in Medical Oncology part time on the South London Rotation, working at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals. After becoming a Consultant in 2014, she initially worked in Sussex before relocating closer to home in 2020 to the Kent Oncology Centre.
Dr Moss provides NHS clinics in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals, supervising systemic treatements for people with Breast Cancer. She’s committed to developing cancer therapies through clinical trials and offering these opportunities to breast cancer patients in Kent. She’s involved with clinical teaching and supervising Medical Oncology Trainees. She provides the Clinical Lead role for Acute Oncology at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and is chair of the Cancer of Unknown Primary MDM.
