The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) is a 28 bed ward which assesses the condition of patients who have been referred from A&E, outpatient clinics or a GP.
It is located in purple zone, level -1 at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
We also have an AAU (Acute Assessment Unit) at Maidstone Hospital.

12pm – 7pm with two visitors (over the age of 16) only per patient at their bedside.
