The Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) is a 14 bed ward which assesses patients who have been referred from A&E, outpatient clinics or a GP.
It is located in the red zone on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.
We also have an Acute Medical Unit at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
