Riverbank Children’s Unit is a paediatric (children’s) ward with 12 beds.

It is located in the green zone on the ground floor of Maidstone Hospital.

Children and young people will be admitted to Riverbank for day-case surgery or if they have been referred to paediatrics from the Emergency Department, by GPs or for further investigations. If the patient requires an overnight stay they will be transferred to Hedgehog Ward.
