Ward 2 is a 26 bed ward looking after and treating elderly patients. It is also home to the Acute Frailty Unit which cares for up to eight day case patients at a time.
The Acute Frailty Unit allows the patient to be assessed and discharged on the same day, with the possibility of care put in place if needed by the patient.
